1 – Tunnel 33

Tunnel 33 is on our list of most haunted places in Shimla on 1st number.  During the British rule Captain Barog was assigned to construct Tunnel 33 enroute Shimla Kalka National Highway. But he didn’t succeed in constructing this tunnel after that he got punished by his supervisors. Captain Barog didn’t handle that much frustration and defame so he commit suicide. 

In Shimla, local people were afraid to roam in this tunnel because they said Captain Barog’s spirit was roaming around tunnel 33.  Many people have also seen a woman roaming on a railway track who disappeared suddenly.

2 – Charleville Mansion

Charleville Mansion is built under the British Rule & a century-old deserted castle. This castle is situated in the lush green mountain of Shimla. At that time, a designated British officer, Mr.Victor Bayley, and his wife lived in this castle. Locals think that this Mansion is strange , that’s why we have added it to our list of Most Haunted Places In Shimla.

Someday, two families will come to live in this Mansion. Both families have seen something unusual in the Mansion, like somebody staring at them. When they reached near him, the British gentleman suddenly disappeared, and after that, the mansion stuff broke and crashed. These spooky activities get quite violent and disturbing.

Today, this Mansion is owned by an Indian businessman and has been refurbished. Even today, local people spot unusual activities like shadow loitering inside the Mansion. Indeed, these are the most haunted places in Shimla.

3 – Convent Of Jesus & Mary

Convent School In Shimla is very famous; Jesus and Mary is famous for more than strange rumors and unusual incidents. 

If you don’t know, one story is very popular in Shimla that a headless horseman suddenly appears and offers a red rose to the innocent girl.  That horseman took that girl along with him and killed other girls who refused to take the rose. 

Another rumor is also a very famous Shimla 2012 tragedy , When 5th class students were found dead near the school. This student’s family claimed that our child was depressed and harassed by the teacher & that’s why he committed suicide. Now, local people claim this building is haunted by their soul.

4 – IGMC- Indira Gandhi Medical College

In Himachal Pradesh Indira Gandhi Medical College is a very big name and huge setup in the whole Himachal. But at the same time , this college is known for the most haunted places in shimla. Regularly, Doctors , Hospital Staff , Patients & Visitor complained many times that something unusual was going on the lifts or corridors.

Along with some weird noises & screaming voices has also been reported to management. Local people believe that those who died in this hospital, That patient spirit roaming inside the hospital. It is quite scary for all patients and students.

5 – House Of Dukhani

On top of the hills of Shimla , Dukhani is a beautiful house & haunted by the spirit of an Old Man. Dressed up and wearing a gown. According to the story, during British Rule, an old man shot himself in Dukhani House in the same dress. This spooky moment connected with Sir John Smith – Guest at Dukhani House. During the stay, Mr. John Smith saw the spirit of that Old Man in a gown. In our list, these are the most haunted places in Shimla.

6 – Chudail Baudi

Here, we come to another most haunted place in Shimla that has quite a famous story. Chudail Baudi connects shimla highway to chotta shimla. Locals believe that if your car speed suddenly goes down while you are crossing Chudail Baudi point. You will be stopped here by an Old Woman & if it happens in movies, she will ask for a lift.
