Doonagiri Glacier is the primary part of Dhauli Ganga System of Glaciers, which have 500 glaciers clusters that have different sizes and shapes. As you know Doonagiri Glacier is approximately 5.5 kms in length and located at an elevation of 5000 Meters. A Unique babbling brook originates from Doonagiri Glacier that merges into the Dhauli Ganga River and after that it merges on their tributary river Alaknanda river.
